Marie is a street rescue and why she was abandoned we can't understand because she is so great!  She is gentle and quiet, and rarely ever barks. She is easily trained.  She sleeps in a crate. She knows the commands come here, get down, bedtime (to go in her crate), inside, outside, and we are working on sit down, stay, and shake.

She is good with our other dogs (BUT POSSESSIVE OF BONES). Marie doesn't chew excessively if given toys of her own, and won't get up on the couch unless asked. She is an excellent leash walker, and goes to the trail to walk with her owners often. Marie is timid at first, but warms up quickly to new people. She is playful at times but when she is inside she lays on her bed with her stuffed reindeer. Her fur is dark, but in the right light she glistens a golden-black. She has beautiful honey colored eyes, and doesn't shed very much at all. She is easy to bathe, and seems to love the water. She is a beautiful sweet baby girl who would love to be a part of a forever home.
