Malcom is really a people dog. He would much rather spend time hanging out with his people than running around with the other dogs. Malcolm is the sweetest dog at Friends for Life, while also being the shelter alarm system. He would make a great companion for a dog savvy woman that would be in charge and give him regular belly rubs and a comfortable doggie bed. He minds well, once you are bonded with him. He does well with young dogs and female dogs, but he wants to be in charge. He likes children that treat him kindly. He was born without a paw, but please, don't tell him, he doesn't know it. He is house trained, and completely crate trained. He does enjoy squeek toys and is playful. He can almost talk with this eye expressions. Malcom was returned by his adoptive family due to becoming a bigger dog than they wanted. Sadly he is the dog that has been at the shelter the longest... He is somewhat grumpy, possibly because of his birth defect and increased use of this front leg. He needs weight management and supplements for allergies and arthritis.
